Exciting news!
Garanto Art Club is over the moon to be budding up with Maya’s, a creative space in Falmouth, for a brand new event; Pen Pal Junk Journaling!
Two Junk Journaling workshops booked as one, 3 weeks apart, and it'll work like this:
Workshop 1: You’ll write, collage, and package a letter to your pen pal! Write a little bit about yourself and who you are, and maybe even include a few bits from your personal collection (or mine if you're still a budding junk journaler) Then, we’ll send them off for you, and assign you a buddy from our Cornish counterpart.
Workshop 2: You’ll get to open your letter from your buddy, and then write them another! You can from then decide from this point if you want to share an address with your buddy to keep pen palling with them (you can also keep using Garanto's address if unsure of sharing personal data)
All this while also working on your journal, as per usual
The dates are going to be Friday, September 19th at 6.30pm, and then Friday, October 10th at 6.30pm
The price for this special edition includes the two sessions, all materials to work and create your letters with, hot drinks, and postage for your letters sent.
So looking forward to this one!! (I will even take part in it!)
