Or what happens when we mix red and green? Well, in this day-long intensive class, you'll get the chance to explore and learn hands-on the secrets of colour mixing.
I'm Mina, a printmaker and abstract artist based in London. I run Garanto Art Club to help people get more creative, and creatives to find a place to call community. I am very excited to host these Colour Theory classes as I taught Colour Theory in Uni for 7+ years back home.
Colour composition is my true passion and I absolutely adore sharing secrets and teaching how to create colour schemes from scratch. In this course, you'll learn how to mix primary colours, secondary colours, complementary colours and how to use them to your advantage in any composition you create.
We'll discuss colour interaction and discover why and how colours dialogue with each other. After this class, you'll take home a new colour chart/wheel completely made by you, and by the end of the course, you'll have a nice collection to keep going back to for inspiration.
We will do all the mixes with acrylic paint.
Garanto Art Club is an intimate and cozy space minutes away from Kensington High Street - spots for this are very limited!

A very detailed crafted masterclass on how to understand colour composition, mixing, and interaction.
All materials (paints, papers, paintbrushes) included in the price. No surprises later.
Each participant will get their colour charts to take home to revisit as needed.
A lunch break (food not included)
This course is ideal for people who have found a craft/artistic medium and didn't get any formal training and want to learn the basics and not-so-basics of colour. Also ideal for people who have undertaken colour studies before and want to refresh their knowledge.
